Good to see Eli, @VitalikButerin, and others pushing this lately. ⦿ Cryptography ages; every algorithm has a shelf-life ⦿ Quantum is the first threat on the list, and there will be others ⦿ Chains that can swap out their cryptography without rebuilding everything underneath will come out ahead We've been talking about this for ages, and we're glad to see the industry catching on. CKB was built with crypto-agility in mind from day one. Protocol-level account abstraction with no signature schemes baked into consensus. And the consensus layer is already quantum-safe because it's hash-based Proof-of-Work 😉 A NIST-standardised hash-based lock (SPHINCS+) is already running on mainnet. ML-DSA, Falcon, and @Blockstream's SHRINCS on testnet. But the most important part is: the community can add any post-quantum option at the application layer, at any time, without waiting for protocol upgrades. This is the future.
