You think BTC is going up. Should you trade Perps or Options? 🤔 Both can trade the same market idea — but they give you very different ways to manage the trade. 🔹 Choose Perps if you want more control over when you exit There is no expiry. If BTC takes longer than expected to move, you can keep the trade open — as long as you have enough margin. The trade-off: If BTC moves too far against you, you can be liquidated. You may also pay funding fees while the position stays open. 🔹 Choose Options if you want to know your maximum loss before you enter When you buy an Option, the most you can lose is the amount you paid for it. There is also no liquidation price before expiry. The trade-off: You need to choose an expiry. If BTC moves the way you expected, but only after your trade ends, you can still lose. So before you trade, ask yourself: Do I want more freedom over when I exit? → Perps Do I want to know my maximum risk before I enter? → Options Neither is better. The better choice is the one that matches how you want to manage your risk and your trade.

Bloomberg Strategist: Bitcoin Has Become a "Stock-Market Puppet" Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Commodity Strategist Mike McGlone @mikemcglone11 said in an October 1 interview with Wealthion that Bitcoin's high correlation with U.S. equities, combined with its greater volatility, has made it increasingly look like a "stock-market puppet." He noted that Bitcoin is down about 4% this year while the S&P 500 is up around 3%, and that Bitcoin has also lagged the stock market for nearly five years. McGlone added that he still stands by his view that Bitcoin could fall to $10,000 and sees no reason yet to abandon that call. He also said the broader crypto market remains in the process of a "purge."
