Markets Close. Risk Doesn't. Hypercall Is Integrating Block Scholes. Markets close. Risk doesn't. Note: this is a stub of an article posted here to Hypercall's Blog. Hypercall is integrating Block Scholes into our volatility-oracle infrastructure. We're bringing specialist derivatives data into the foundation we're building for options across crypto and real-world assets. The reason starts with a simple distinction: an asset's price tells you where it trades now. An option also depends on what could happen before it expires. Pricing that uncertainty calls for a different kind of data. Why volatility oracles matter Implied volatility expresses the uncertainty reflected in option prices. It varies across strike prices and expiration dates, forming a volatility surface. That detail matters: protection against a large move tomorrow can carry a different price than exposure over several months. A volatility oracle makes those inputs available to the systems that need them. Block Scholes' oracle infrastructure delivers volatility surfaces and other derivatives data through push and pull integrations. For options infrastructure, volatility inputs support three connected jobs: Pricing. Estimating an option's theoretical value for its strike and time to expiry. Valuation. Updating reference values as the market's pricing of uncertainty changes. Risk. Assessing how positions respond to changes in the underlying price and volatility. An underlying asset can remain at the same price while demand for protection rises. Its options can become more expensive without a corresponding spot move. A system looking only at the underlying price would miss that change. The quality of the inputs matters throughout the option's life, from evaluating a potential trade to understanding an existing position. Volatility data is part of the foundation for those decisions. Why Block Scholes Block Scholes is a leader in derivatives data and volatility analytics. Its work combines quantitative research, volatility-surface modeling, and oracle delivery for trading infrastructure. Its data and analytics span spot, perpetuals, futures and options markets, including reference pricing, implied volatility surfaces and risk analytics. Block Scholes delivers data through APIs and on-chain and off-chain oracle solutions, with its crypto options data also available on the Bloomberg Terminal. There is a concrete institutional credential behind that positioning. In March 2026, Block Scholes announced that its cryptocurrency implied-volatility data was available through the Bloomberg Terminal, giving professional users access to BTC and ETH surfaces within their existing workflows. For Hypercall, that combination of derivatives expertise and practical data delivery is what makes the integration compelling. We want the infrastructure behind options to reflect the complexity of the markets they reference. The weekend problem for real-world assets Around-the-clock trading meets markets with opening hours. A tokenized asset or a derivative referencing an equity or commodity may trade while the traditional reference venue is closed. News still arrives. Traders still adjust their expectations. Yet reference-market prices may stop updating, liquidity can change, and some hedging routes are unavailable until those markets reopen. A Friday closing price cannot describe all of that. Nor does a quiet reference feed mean the economic risk has disappeared. The challenge is especially important for options, where both the underlying price and uncertainty over the remaining life affect valuation. Block Scholes has made these issues explicit in its work on RWA derivatives pricing, including market schedules, gaps in liquidity, and differences between trading venues. Foresight backed by research Block Scholes has been studying what happens outside traditional market hours. Its research on Bitget's RWA perpetual markets found substantial weekend declines in trading volume per hour across the contracts studied. It also found that quoted spreads often remained narrow, showing why one liquidity measure cannot tell the whole story. In a July interview, its research team described work on weekend oil pricing, overnight gold pricing, and equity-perpetual settlement indices. That focus shows the foresight we value: treating the difficult hours as part of the infrastructure problem from the start. Building for the whole week We're integrating Block Scholes because expanding the range of assets behind options also expands the demands on the data underneath them. Our direction is clear: options infrastructure built around how markets actually behave, throughout the week.

With HIP-4 permissionless deployments going live on mainnet, seems like a good time to repost this: Hypercall will soon let anyone combine Perps and HIP-4 into vanilla options, all in the same margining engine Options are the most popular retail instrument in the world and HIP-4 + Perps are tailor made for building options liquidity. Let's look at how 🧵
"Bybit launches industry’s first options product based on equity perpetual contracts" Wrong 🔴 Hypercall has had options on $SPCX for a full quarter and has already listed $NVDA $TSLA $MU and more. Imitation is, of course, the sincerest form of flattery and we're very proud to be pushing incumbents to innovate
Hyperliquid is becoming the deepest BTC venue in the world. That makes it the natural hedge venue for options writers. BTC + ETH options are live on Hypercall. 🔊 SOUND ON

Hypercall's competition has been up for 2 days. 19 traders. $1m+ in volume. We've launched a bunch of new features so you can keep your eyes on the competition and see what's trading 🧵👇
Expanding Hypercall's Social Layer Trading is becoming more social. Nansen built a business around labeled wallets. On Polymarket, a large position can become part of the event being traded. On Hyperliquid, public positions and liquidations turned whale watching into a daily market activity. Traders now follow the account as closely as the price. A position means more when you know who owns it, how the rest of the account is positioned, and whether the order is isolated or part of a longer pattern. Note: this is a stub of the full article on the Hypercall Blog. Because of X platform limitations, live components are not embedded here. Read the full piece at blog.hypercall.xyz/hypercall-community-layer-is-live/ Why visible flow matters @chameleon_jeff recently highlighted a study of visible TWAP execution on Hyperliquid. Davide Barone and Fabrizio Lillo reconstruct 4.3 million hidden metaorders and compare them with 465,000 visible TWAP executions in Trading in the Sunshine or in the Shade: Market Impact and Adverse Selection on Hyperliquid. A market maker prices the risk that a large anonymous order is informed. A disclosed TWAP provides more information about the order's schedule and intent. In the study, visible TWAPs had lower execution costs and less permanent price impact than comparable hidden metaorders. Displayed depth also increased while the visible programs were active. Disclosure is not always the right choice. The finding is narrower: more context can reduce adverse selection and change the terms on which liquidity is offered. Hypercall profiles do the same for options. The flow was already onchain, but following it meant starting with an address and reconstructing the account by hand. Profiles put the identity, positions, and results in one place for retail traders and whales. What a public profile shows Every Hypercall trader now has a public profile. The page connects a name and address to the book the account runs. It shows account value, margin, current and settled positions, P&L, competition results, activity, order history, streaks, and collections. The owner also sees private account tools, including referrals, that visitors cannot access. A visitor can see how the account builds and manages risk rather than relying on a screenshot posted after the trade. The trader gets a public record tied to the positions and results themselves. Recent fills appear after a 15-minute disclosure delay, and public position pages are read-only. Badges and collections The detailed history is available, but it is not the fastest way to understand an account. Badges summarize facts that would otherwise require reading hundreds of fills and competition records. There are six badge families: Podium records placement in a completed competition. Volume records lifetime notional volume milestones. Early shows who was active before August 1, 2026. Trollbox records participation in the room. Streak shows consecutive UTC trading days. Collection shows how many listed underlyings an account has traded. Collection measures something that volume does not. A trader can generate large volume in one market; a Collection badge records breadth across the listed universe. Toast has traded 9 of the 10 listed assets. Badges are computed from account history. Each badge page lists its thresholds, tiers, holder count, and public ranking. The profile shows both the earned tier and progress toward the next one. The current competition The current Hypercall $1,000 Trading Competition runs from August 18 through August 25, with $500 for first, $300 for second, and $200 for third. As of the August 19, 16:55 UTC snapshot, 20 traders had entered the rankings and generated $890k in qualifying competition volume. Seven had cleared the prize-eligibility bar: positive competition P&L and at least $1,000 in qualifying volume. Toast leads with 888.60 points, $710.88 in realized P&L, and $156.7k in qualifying volume. sharp_rho.85 is second with 409.36 points and $342.95 in realized P&L on $35.4k of qualifying volume. FundingRateGuy, megatron, and hollow_theta.ef complete the current top five. The comparison between first and second shows why the board includes more than volume. Toast has traded more size. sharp_rho.85 has produced nearly half the realized P&L on less than a quarter of the qualifying volume. The competition is still live. These are not final standings, and the top three are not paid until the window closes. The rules explain the score, qualifying-volume cap, and prize conditions. Positions and settlement receipts Each position on a profile links to its own page. An open position now has its own page with signed size, average entry, current value, open P&L, breakeven, payoff, and disclosed fills. When the position belongs to somebody else, the page is visibly read-only. After expiry, the position links to a settlement receipt. The receipt shows the exact payout record, signed position, intrinsic value per contract, cost basis, and pre-fee settlement P&L. It only renders when the payout ID, account, contract, symbol, and recorded values agree. Trollbox search Trollbox now has ranked search. Search by trader or text, narrow results to today, and open the surrounding conversation. Analyst also receives context from the current profile, competition, badge, or contract before the first question is asked. Most social trading still happens through screenshots, wallet links, group chats, and posts published after the move. Hypercall now puts the public record beside the conversation: profiles, positions, fills, settlements, badges, and competition scores. The new pages are live. Start with the rankings, open a trader, and inspect the positions behind the score. This content is informational and not financial or investment advice. Trading options and digital assets carries risk.
The right partnerships power true innovation. Together with @AnchoredFi, we've brought traditional markets onchain, making 50+ tokenized U.S. stocks available to trade on SynFutures. Real equities. 1:1 backed. Self-custodial. Built for an always-on financial system. Here's a look at how we made it happen 👇
SP500 Options Are Live on Hypercall SP500 options are live on Hypercall. You can now trade S&P 500 options alongside SPCX. Calls, puts, spreads, strategy templates, live charts, Trollbox, funding, order history, and positions are all in one on-chain options app. Note: this is a stub of the full article on the Hypercall blog. The screenshot and live app context are easier to view in the full post: https://blog.hypercall.xyz/sp500-options-are-live/ Why SP500 S&P 500 options are not some niche product. They are one of the most important instruments in global markets. They are how traders express broad market views, hedge portfolios, trade event risk, and take defined-risk positions on equity-market direction and volatility. A trader may not want to pick a single company. They may simply want convex exposure to the market itself. That is the role SP500 plays on Hypercall. SPCX proved the first version of the venue: options on an asset where traders want exposure, but traditional access is awkward. SP500 adds something different. It is familiar, central to options trading, and easy for traders to reason about on day one. What You Can Trade Open app.hypercall.xyz, select SP500, and choose the expiry and strike you want to trade. The app supports the core workflows traders expect: calls, puts, spreads, packages, strategy selection, order preview, account balances, positions, and activity tracking. And now, shorting is live too. Under Standard Margin, users can sell options when the account has enough margin and the market is within current launch limits. Traders are no longer limited to buying premium. They can sell calls or puts too, while the venue enforces per-position margin, maintenance margin, and liquidation rules. This is still Standard Margin, not Portfolio Margin. Standard Margin evaluates positions independently, does not give portfolio offsets, and keeps short-option risk explicit. The App Has Changed A Lot SP500 is launching into a much better Hypercall app than the one we started mainnet with. The difference is obvious as soon as you open the desktop surface. The chart is bigger, the market selector is cleaner, strategy templates sit next to the order flow, positions and history are visible below, and Trollbox is live in the corner. It feels like a trading product now. Desktop trading shell: refreshed layout, better sidebars, cleaner onboarding, and tighter spacing. Options chain: buy/sell actions, cleaner selection, sticky mark rows, position indicators, and better expiry labels. Order entry: desktop and mobile now share the same flow, with clearer actions and fewer empty-state flashes. Charts: better loading, centered error states, TradingView countback support, and position lines with clickable chips. Funding: cleaner deposit and withdrawal screens, USDC-aware routing, Relay fee handling, and withdrawal history. Order management: sortable activity, dismissible toasts, guarded cancel behavior, and bulk cancel. The common thread is simple: fewer dead ends, fewer confusing states, and fewer moments where a trader has to guess what the app is doing. What Comes Next Hypercall is not a one-market app anymore. SPCX was the first proof point. SP500 is the next one. The immediate goal is simple: give traders a clean way to trade S&P 500 options on-chain, learn from live flow, and keep improving the venue. Trade SP500 options on Hypercall. This content is informational and not financial or investment advice. Trading options and digital assets carries risk.

gFutures, another week, another round of DeFi news 📰 Iran escalated again, and crypto got hit with its biggest liquidation event of the month. $934M gone in 24 hours. Here’s what you missed: • Iran re-escalates: $934M liquidated • Warsh sworn in as Fed Chair • SynFutures × @FutureHouseKR brings onchain education to Korea • RWAs are coming to SynFutures 👀 Want in? 👇
$85M → $30B in just five years. RWAs are quickly becoming crypto’s biggest narrative. @OndoFinance surged 23% in 24 hours after the total RWA value on-chain crossed the $20B mark. And this isn’t just another crypto hype cycle. Real-world assets, think government bonds, real estate, private credit are being put on-chain at a pace most of crypto hasn't noticed yet. The Boston Consulting Group projects tokenized real-world assets could become a $16T market by 2030. Why does this become the biggest narrative? Because it's the first crypto use case that TradFi needs. When BlackRock launches a tokenised treasury fund and institutions follow, the addressable market stops being "crypto users" and starts being every asset manager on the planet. Crypto isn’t just building a parallel financial system anymore. Tokenized stocks are coming soon to SynFutures
Dev Update coming tomorrow. Trading Competition this week (we promise!) Mainnet this month. Hypercall. Hyperliquid.

The Technology Catalyst In January, Synapse launched RFQ, an intent-based system for bridging (https://synapse.mirror.xyz/JOhV8_8HMIPRqKTkbJqU5no4RNWQpln4pvUXZcBPAVk). Synapse RFQ shifted bridge volumes from traditional liquidity pools to a competition between relayers to provide liquidity. Since then, RFQ has been deployed on Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, Linea, Scroll, Blast, BSC and Base. The results less than a year later: Median bridge time has dropped from 20 minutes to 3 seconds, a 99.75% reduction Synapse bridge quotes are on average 81% cheaper than our competitors (https://synapse.mirror.xyz/mUk-EpaWHW1EJjOOQRpTPeHqT0j1302_2ody80ixdoQ) Synapse RFQ makes up 90% of bridge volume 🖼️ https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GeDgiY4XsAAx-_C.jpg (RFQ Growth as a percentage of bridge volume) This week, Synapse Intents Network (https://synapse.mirror.xyz/jqnrb-dK-iqjJFh9v_Br1393ewgRCOfhKC3Syc8qwmo) was deployed to mainnets, a full-chain abstraction solution. Synapse Intents Network represent more than just a technical upgrade—it's a complete reimagining of chain abstraction. SIN will continue driving faster, cheaper quotes for users without using emissions. Additionally, it allows: Off-chain auction for bridge quotes between relayers. CEX-like pricing with on-chain guarantees The first decentralized intent network with live fraud proofs, allowing SIN to onboard DeFi protocols, MEV bots, etc Relaying for ANY asset and ANY action. Imagine 1 transaction from ETH on Optimism to a Pendle pool on Ethereum. Additionally, SIN allows $SYN staking and a feasible fee switch. Currently, fraud proofs are gated like the rollout of L2s, but the system allows fraud provers and relayer to stake $SYN to decentralize the network and receive fees. Tokenomic Revolution With these core innovations in motion, $SYN is going through a tokenomic shift. A quick look at what’s possible and DAO governance shows 3 large efforts: A $3.5M DAO buyback proposal for a target of 5M SYN (https://forum.synapseprotocol.com/d/2085-synapse-protocol-enhancement-treasury-optimization) Reducing emissions by 70% with RFQ’s success. Taking out 2.5M SYN/year out of circulation. (https://forum.synapseprotocol.com/d/2084-synapse-emissions-reduction) An evolution to a POS, fee-earning network (https://synapse.mirror.xyz/jqnrb-dK-iqjJFh9v_Br1393ewgRCOfhKC3Syc8qwmo) Strategic Treasury Reallocation The first force emerges from the community's forward-thinking treasury management. A proposed buyback program targeting 5M SYN tokens represents a strategic rebalancing that aligns treasury assets with the protocol's future direction, aligning the treasury toward proof-of-stake mechanics. Emission Optimization The second force comes from a dramatic reduction in emissions, made possible by technological efficiency gains. The proposal to reduce emissions by 65% will result in approximately 2.5M fewer SYN tokens entering circulation over the next 12 months. This isn't just about reducing supply—it's about optimizing capital efficiency while maintaining service quality across all supported chains. The Staking Horizon Perhaps the most intriguing development on the horizon is the introduction of staking through the Synapse Intent Network (SIN). This isn't just another staking implementation—it represents a fundamental shift in how the protocol handles security and value distribution. The introduction of proof-of-stake mechanics for relayers and guards opens new possibilities for revenue distribution while potentially creating another significant sink for SYN tokens. In the short run, current proposals reduce SYN supply by close to 10M $SYN. In the long run, Synapse aims to own the whole user experience. Looking Forward Synapse will own the whole crypto experience. Chain abstraction means users don’t switch chain, don’t worry about having gas and can simply to from their prompt or intent to their desired end state. This is why we’re building Cortex (https://x.com/Cortex_Protocol/status/1859766879948292581). All the complexity of crypto can be taken away by relayers for on-chain infrastructure and AI for user experience. Users only have to know their desired end state. One interface, no clicks, no submitting transactions, no gas, no looking for the right token or highest yield. The user tells Cortex what they want to achieve, and Cortex’s crypto-specific AI model prases the intent and passes it to SIN’s relayers for on-chain execution. Cortex is the easiest way to use crypto. This creates a flywheel where the more users bridge and prompt, the more orderflow is sent to SIN, the better the prices and support for users, the more users bridge and prompt.
