    Every Acurast stake is a promise of compute. Managers stake ACU on the compute they promise. Fall short, and the stake is slashed in proportion. That keeps the network stable. How it works:
→ Every phone's compute is measured each epoch (~90 min)
→ Only the missing part is penalized. Commitments that are met keep receiving rewards
→ Anyone can spot a shortfall and trigger the slash
→ 90% of slashed ACU is burned Delegators share both the rewards and the risk, so check a manager's Stake Health before you delegate. Learn more: https://acurast.com/staking/
