India’s Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested Ayush Varshney, co-founder and CTO of Darwin Labs, at Mumbai airport for his role in the $790 million (₹6,606 crore) GainBitcoin fraud. Investigators allege Darwin Labs built the scheme's core technical infrastructure, including the investor platform, GBMiners pool, and payment wallets. The scam, operated via Variabletech Pte.
