    Governance Proposal: QuickSwap to Launch Orbs Perps on Base Chain With QuickSwap’s recent launch on Base Chain, onchain activity is ramping up and the community continues to show excitement for what’s coming. The QuickSwap DEX offers it all for Base ecosystem users: swaps, liquidity providing, farms, and bonds. But one key DeFi product could change the game: perps. QuickSwap has already deployed a successful perps DEX (Falkor) on Polygon PoS, powered by Orderly Network. Now, QuickSwap is exploring launching a new decentralised perps DEX powered by Orbs Network. This governance proposal has been introduced for the dragon community to decide if QuickSwap should launch a new decentralised perpetuals DEX on Base Chain, powered by Orbs Network. Orbs Network is an open, decentralised, and public blockchain infrastructure supported by a secure network of permissionless validators via PoS consensus. Since 2023, Orbs Network has partnered with QuickSwap to provide the infrastructure for a Liquidity Hub (for onchain swaps), dTWAP and dLIMIT orders, and more. Through these variations, QuickSwap has amassed millions in volume on Polygon PoS and other chains. Orbs also offers a Perpetual Hub, which is a new full suite of services for onchain leverage futures trading using their decentralised Layer 3 execution services, and powered by Symm.io intent based perps smart contracts. QuickSwap Perps DEX On Base Chain QuickSwap is planning to launch a decentralised perpetual DEX on Base Chain, where users will have the ability to trade with up to 60x leverage trading across 600+ different digital assets. If this perps DEX is launched, it will help propel QuickSwap to be in an even stronger position as the ultimate DeFi hub on Base Chain - having all of the most essential and popular DeFi features in 1 tab for Base users. Orbs Network’s perps infrastructure is unique in that it uses an “Intent-Based” model that connects DeFi users to Hedgers (third parties) that trustlessly provide liquidity. It also uses AMFQ (Automated Market For Quotes engine) that merges the benefits of order books and AMMs (Automated Market Makers) for high capital efficiency across the board, drastically enhancing the UI/UX. Couple these unique features with a sleek and intuitive UI/UX, and you’ve got yourself a winning formula for the perfect decentralised perps platform on Base Chain. Other key points that separate Orbs’ infrastructure from the QuickPerps platform on Polygon PoS: Higher Leverage: Users can trade with up to 60x (up to 50x enabled on Polygon) Additional Token Pairs: Users instantly get access to all tokens on Binance for perps trades Instant Liquidity: Liquidity is immediate for perps traders due to Hedgers on Orbs’ Intent Based Model Agreement Between QuickSwap x Orbs Network QuickSwap and Orbs Network have agreed to a 50/50 split of all revenue generated from the decentralised perps DEX on Base Chain, with Orbs Network paying infrastructure costs and rev shares from their cut of the split. Note that this applies to the platform on Base Chain only; it does not pertain to or affect any of the other perps platforms that QuickSwap provides.
