    SlowMist: Suspected North Korean Hackers Route Stolen Bitget Funds Through CoW, Chainflip SlowMist founder Cos said MistTrack’s TrackAgent detected suspected North Korean hackers moving funds stolen from Bitget through a combination of CoW Protocol and Chainflip. According to the analysis, automated scripts create CoW orders with pre-generated Chainflip deposit contracts as recipient addresses, allowing settled assets to move directly into cross-chain swaps and ultimately be converted into BTC, making the fund trail harder to follow. North Korean-linked actors are currently suspected in the roughly $350 million Bitget hack, though attribution remains under investigation.

    MistTrack: Bitget Exploiter Attempted to Route Stolen Funds via Chainflip but Broker Rejected According to on-chain monitoring by SlowMist's tracking arm MistTrack, the Bitget exploiter attempted to move stolen funds through the cross-chain liquidity protocol Chainflip, but the transaction was rejected at the broker interface ("deposit rejected by the broker"). The protocol did not freeze the capital but instead refunded the deposit directly back to the sender, effectively preventing the attacker from routing the exploit proceeds through the network.

    Chainflip, a cross-chain bridge, announced that it will prevent the illegal flow of Bybit hacker funds within the protocol through protocol upgrades.     Bybit hackers have used a large number of addresses to exchange 37,900 ETH (106 million USD) for BTC and other assets through Chainflip, THORChain, LiFi, DLN, and eXch. The Bybit hacker address currently has 461,491 ETH (1.29 billion USD), and the total amount of ETH stolen from Bybit is 499,395 (1.4 billion USD). x.com/EmberCN/status…
