It’s happened. Today we formally announce the alpha some of you already heard. Golem DB becomes @arkivnetwork What changes? ✅ A fresh brand with even more focus on empowering data autonomy for everyone. Follow @arkivnetwork 's thread 👇 for more information on the new website, quickstarts and github repository ✅ More partnerships and additional use cases ✅ More incentives for builders and contributors shaping Arkiv coming from the Golem Ecosystem Fund What stays the same? 🫂 Ethereum-aligned - Arkiv remains aligned with Ethereum's vision and aims to introduce a data-centric perspective across the entire ecosystem 🫂 Still in Testnet - Arkiv is currently in its testnet phase. More information about the mainnet will be shared in the coming weeks 🫂 Powered by $GLM - sustaining, evolving and widening its utility across Web3 🫂 Rooted in the Golem Ecosystem - Originally built to solve data challenges within Golem’s Marketplace, Arkiv will provide a data layer for its next iteration. While conceptualizing the new marketplace, the organization uncovered a key insight: not only Golem, but many (if not all) DePIN projects, require a fast, extendable, reliable, permissionless, and trustless Data Availability Layer. Existing solutions weren’t enough. This realization sparked the idea for Arkiv, leading to its initial definition. @arkivnetwork is set to make data a first-class citizen within Web3. https://t.co/UrwjprYYMT & Golem Ecosystem Fund Hey @everyone! We’d like to share an update on the vanity Ethereum address generator project we teased back in June. Development is already underway, with support for both CPU and GPU providers on the Golem Network. A preview version developed by Unoperate is set to go live soon on Golem’s mainnet. What’s a vanity address? A vanity address is an Ethereum Externally Owned Account (EOA) or contract address whose hexadecimal representation includes recognizable patterns or aesthetically pleasing sequences Think long runs of identical digits, memorable prefixes, or even leet-speak (e.g. 0x1337… ; xDEAD…BEEF). https://t.co/StNaG0nZ3C is compatible with CPU providers but can also leverage GPU-accelerated key searches for orders of magnitude faster results. Open-source CLI 🔗 You can try it today! The vanity-market CLI is fully open-source on GitHub: https://t.co/G1W7JlNQrs Check out the README for new-user setup, examples, and detailed usage instructions. Please note: This application is a work in progress and not yet recommended for very long patterns. Get ready to compute! Initial demand for those calculations has been secured and it will soon hit Golem Network's mainnet. Next stop: Golem Network’s new marketplace Once Golem Network’s new implementation of Marketplace goes out of beta (end of August), vanity generation tasks will migrate to it and will work only with providers that updated their versions of yagna. That means anyone looking to get GLM tokens by running provider nodes should be ready to switch over when a new Golem marketplace is officially launched! We’ll publish a simple migration guide when the time comes.

Vlayer's research introduces a novel, efficient way to prove Keccak using GKR, providing both the theoretical foundation and practical framework for implementing it at scale. 🎓 We’re honored to have supported this research, and deeply appreciate the brilliant minds at vlayer pushing the boundaries of ZK. 📄 Read the whitepaper to learn more: https://t.co/gRJVgHrjbr
