Crypto News - 11 September 2026 Bitcoin was down 3.1% over seven days at $77,327 in Friday's Metal Pay snapshot, while ether gained 2.9% to $2,532. The September 11 inflation report showed U.S. core prices rising 0.3% in August, above the 0.2% forecast, keeping a possible Federal Reserve rate increase in focus. Alternative.me's Fear & Greed Index registered 56, still in 'Greed' territory. That was down from 69 a day earlier and 74 a week earlier, an 18-point weekly decline. Together, the figures show cooling enthusiasm and uneven performance rather than a market-wide rebound. Senate Revises Clarity Act as Disputes Persist Senate Republicans released a revised Clarity Act on September 10, updating proposed crypto rules without resolving the bill's main political disputes. The draft would require certain centrally controlled trading protocols to register with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and clarifies how credit unions can conduct digital-asset activities. Banks continued pressing for tighter restrictions on stablecoin rewards, warning of competition with customer deposits. Disagreements over money-laundering safeguards and officials' crypto-related conflicts of interest also remained. The draft was not law as of September 11, and advancing it still required a 60-vote coalition in the Senate. Liquid Resumes Transactions After $320 Million Exploit Liquid Network resumed transactions on September 10 after an exploit drained roughly 4,000 bitcoin, worth about $320 million when reported, from its reserves on September 6. Around 3,400 BTC was returned on September 7, but approximately 598.5 BTC remained outstanding as of Friday. Blockstream said on September 11 that it would not pay a ransom for the remaining funds. Withdrawals from Liquid back to Bitcoin remained disabled while recovery continued. Liquid said the flaw was in its underlying software and that network operators had not been hacked or had their keys compromised. The previous Friday brought $174.6 million in net inflows, led by BlackRock's IBIT ($117.4 million) and Fidelity's FBTC ($57.2 million). Tuesday reversed to $46.6 million in outflows, with Grayscale's GBTC losing $65.5 million despite smaller inflows elsewhere. Wednesday's outflows deepened to $120.2 million, including $78.0 million from ARK 21Shares' ARKB. Thursday was the weakest reported session at $282.7 million in outflows, led by ARKB ($164.3 million) and GBTC ($36.4 million). Overall, Bitcoin ETFs recorded $449.5 million in net outflows across this week's reported sessions through Thursday, with redemptions increasing each day; Friday's total remains TBD. The previous Friday recorded $25.9 million in net inflows, as BlackRock's ETHA ($57.8 million) and ETHB ($16.4 million) outweighed $48.3 million leaving Fidelity's FETH. Tuesday reversed to $24.3 million in outflows, led by Grayscale's ETH ($24.6 million) and ETHE ($9.6 million), partly offset by FETH's $9.9 million inflow. Wednesday rebounded with $34.7 million in inflows, led by ETHB ($22.9 million) and ETHA ($9.7 million). Thursday was the weakest reported session at $29.9 million in outflows, as withdrawals from FETH ($25.2 million) and ETHA ($18.6 million) outweighed inflows elsewhere. Overall, Ethereum ETFs recorded $19.5 million in net outflows through Thursday, with Wednesday's recovery insufficient to offset the other sessions; Friday's total remains TBD. Metal DAO (MTL) led the tracked tokens with a 6.5% weekly gain, followed by Litecoin at 5.6%. Ethereum (+2.9%), Metal Blockchain (+2.1%) and Solana (+0.6%) also finished the seven-day snapshot higher, while Dogecoin (-0.6%) and Stellar (-0.7%) held up best among the decliners. Bitcoin fell 3.1%, XPR Network lost 4.4% and Loan Protocol dropped 11.7%, leaving five of the 13 tracked tokens in positive territory.

Crypto News - 2 May 2025 Bitcoin finished the week back above $97,000, extending its multi-week rally and confirming bullish momentum across spot and ETF markets (https://blockchain.news/flashnews/bitcoin-etf-net-inflows-surge-by-311m-as-ishares-leads-with-352m?utm_source=metalpay.com). The move caps off a strong April, fueled by renewed institutional demand and improved sentiment in both BTC and ETH markets. At the same time, legacy financial firms are edging deeper into crypto, and political capital continues flowing into the sector. Volatility remains in play but capital is clearly flowing back onchain. BlackRock’s IBIT led the charge, bringing in $970.9M on April 28, followed by a strong $351.4M on May 1. Despite midweek outflows from Ark and Fidelity, momentum held steady, reflecting sustained institutional interest in BTC at current levels. Inflows were strongest last Friday on April 25 with $104.1 million added, led by BlackRock (ETHA) and Fidelity (FETH). While the trend cooled this Monday and in the days following, net weekly flow remained positive, suggesting a potential shift in sentiment after months of steady outflows. Vote to Launch SOL, ADA, and XLM on Metal X DEX and Lending A new proposal is now live on the XPR Network Gov Dash that would fund the launch of Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and Stellar (XLM) spot markets and lending support on Metal X. The proposal requests a grant for liquidity provisioning and market making. These assets have already been bridged via xTokens (https://app.metalx.com/bridge) but remain inactive for trading. With approval, users will be able to trade and lend SOL, ADA, and XLM natively on Metal X DEX. 🗳️ XPR holders can vote here: gov.xprnetwork.org/proposals/680a5823f4f4d9492c3d68e (http://ghttps://gov.xprnetwork.org/proposals/680a5823f4f4d9492c3d68ecc LOAN Holders: Vote to Add SOL and ADA to the Lending Protocol To go along with the above proposal to add the above assets to the DEX, there are two active proposals for $LOAN token holders to decide whether to add Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) to the LOAN Protocol lending markets. Both proposals offer options to enable lending with or without LOAN rewards. These integrations would expand the protocol’s supported asset set, attract new users from the Solana and Cardano ecosystems, and drive up TVL and borrowing activity across the network. 🗳️ Vote on SOL Lending: gov.xprnetwork.org/proposals/6813cb29f27f8365c08a4e5 (http://ghttps://gov.xprnetwork.org/proposals/6813cb29f27f8365c08a4e588 🗳️ Vote on ADA Lending: gov.xprnetwork.org/proposals/6813cb6ef27f8365c08a4ef (http://ghttps://gov.xprnetwork.org/proposals/6813cb6ef27f8365c08a4ef55 🖼️ https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Gp-GS3yawAIGQV2.jpg Top Gainers – LOAN Leads as Broader Market Steadies Among Metal Pay listed assets, LOAN Protocol (LOAN (https://m.tl/SUJpbdziCEb)) topped the charts this week with a +18.5% gain, driven by lending activity and community governance momentum.
