In response to the growing demand for GPUs driven by the widespread adoption of generative AI, the Company introduced its vision for creating a more flexible and open environment for accessing computing resources. About “QWS STARTUP AWARD 2026” The QWS STARTUP AWARD is a pitch award event for startups organized by SHIBUYA QWS, a co-creation space dedicated to bringing together diverse people to generate ideas and new businesses that lead to social value. What distinguishes this award is its focus not only on business growth potential, but also on challenges that create new social value and innovation. It is held as a platform where judges and partner companies work together to support the next step for startups. In 2026, 10 finalists were selected from a total of 145 applicants, and pitch judging was conducted. Among them, the Company received the Google for Startups Award. Presentation Overview With the rapid spread of generative AI, computing resources such as GPUs are becoming increasingly important across a wide range of fields, including research and development, product development, video production, and 3DCG. At the same time, ongoing shortages in the supply of high-performance GPUs, rising costs, and the burden of responding to fluctuating demand have made it difficult to secure sufficient computing resources at the right time. To address these challenges, JANCTION is a project that aims to connect GPU resources distributed around the world and create an environment where they can be used whenever and as much as needed. As a new form of infrastructure for the AI era, JANCTION is working to realize more flexible and sustainable use of computing resources.
