Chromia Monthly Update: February 2025 February 28th, 2025 This month saw several notable ecosystem announcements and additions, while progress has continued on the delivery of the Mimir Upgrade. Let’s take a look at the technical progress, key announcements, and news from around the world of Chromia: The Mimir Mainnet Upgrade is Scheduled Mimir is set to launch on March 25th, bringing the official release of the Vector Database Extension and AI Inference Extension. These new features, combined with previous releases like the Python Postchain Client and Neural Interface, provide a robust suite of tools for decentralizing AI and expanding the possibilities of on-chain data processing. The DAR game, including $D tokens and game logic, is now fully integrated with our relational and modular blockchain, unlocking greater scalability, efficiency, and on-chain functionality. Chromia Welcomes Nomisma Network Nomisma Network is a dedicated Layer-1 subchain within the Chromia ecosystem, built specifically for AI-powered DeFi applications. Designed to support automated trading, lending, and liquidity, Nomisma is the first blockchain tailored for AI-driven DeFi, offering faster transactions, no gas fees, and smarter capital efficiency. EVAL Engine and the launch of ‘Chromia’s $EVAL’ on Virtuals Protocol EVAL Engine, the first AI Agent Evaluation Plugin powered by Chromia, was launched on January 27th. The launch was accompanied by the creation of the $EVAL token on Virtuals Protocol (https://app.virtuals.io/virtuals/20193), which was airdropped to Native CHR stakers. The token has settled into the top 100 agents by Market Cap on Virtuals. Fanzeal Launches New Collection with Dinamo Zagreb Dinamo Zagreb, in collaboration with Fanzeal, has launched Dinamo Collectibles, a new digital collection that allows fans to own officially licensed memorabilia from the club’s history. These collectibles include representations of iconic players, historic trophies, and exclusive fan experiences such as VIP match tickets and player meet-and-greets. Staking Updates and Reminders In December 2024, we began encouraging all of our CHR holders and stakers to migrate their tokens to Chromia’s mainnet. In January, staker snapshots were taken for both Colorpool and EVAL Engine airdrops - both were exclusive to Native CHR stakers only. We are back at it, with the recently announced airdrop campaign for Nomisma (https://blog.chromia.com/chromia-x-nomisma-30-000-airdrop/). To ensure you get to participate in as many future promotions as possible, consider staking on Chromia’s mainnet.
