    Plasma One Launches Stablecoin Account with XPL Rewards and Aave Yield Plasma One has launched an account combining a stablecoin card, fee-free USDT transfers, on-chain yield and an XPL-based membership program. Users can earn XPL cashback on card spending and access yield through Aave’s USDT0 market. Its Lite, Core and Platinum tiers offer different cashback rates and benefits. Plasma noted that it is not a bank, balances are not covered by deposit insurance, and yields vary with Aave market rates.

A short update on the incident's cause: During the transition of XPL from the pre-market to the regular perpetual market, a configuration parameter was set incorrectly, resulting in abnormal price behavior. The index price was capped at $1 from 17:30 UTC on September 24. After the cap was removed, the trading pair remained in pre-market trading mode, causing an abnormal spike in the index price between 21:36 and 21:45 UTC. This isolated incident was fully resolved by 21:45 UTC. We want to be fully transparent - this was an internal misconfiguration, not an external exploit.
