THE BLOCK: Privy CEO Henri Stern said he is taking on leadership of Stripe's crypto and stablecoin efforts while continuing to lead the wallet platform he founded. Stripe acquired Privy in June 2025. Stern said Stripe plans to build a comprehensive stablecoin developer platform that integrates crypto and fiat rails, wallets, payments and asset issuance, with a focus on utility, interoperability and end-to-end experiences. He said the company will also prioritize open systems and compliance as it works to make stablecoin infrastructure easier for businesses to adopt.
