Tokenization’s move from proof of concept to institutional infrastructure was on the agenda at the BNY APAC Forum in Singapore. Our Founder and CEO @jeremyng777 joined Marianna Lopert-Schaye from BNY, Derek Neo from @SGXGroup, and Steven Hu from @OCBCBank, to discuss that transition before an audience of leading financial institutions. As the only crypto-native company invited to speak at the forum, OpenEden brought the issuer perspective, drawing on experience bringing institutional investment products on-chain. Our experience spans bringing US Treasuries on-chain through TBILL, with BNY Investments serving as investment manager and primary custodian for the underlying assets, and launching the first tokenized BNY bond fund through HYBOND, which offers on-chain exposure to the BNY Mellon Global Short-Dated High Yield Bond Fund.
