X Introduces Trading Option to Cashtags, Partnering with IBKR, Coinbase, Kraken, and Others at Launch X has announced the rollout of the Cashtag Partner Program in the U.S., adding a dedicated "Trade" option to Cashtags (ticker symbols for stocks, ETFs, cryptocurrencies, and other assets). By tapping a supported Cashtag, users can view price charts and related posts, and select "Trade" to seamlessly route to a participating brokerage or exchange to execute their orders. The initial partner lineup includes Interactive Brokers, Moomoo, Gemini, Kraken, and Coinbase. Transactions are not executed natively within X, but are completed through the respective partners' mobile apps or web platforms.
