THE BLOCK: Stablecoin payments startup Velocity has raised a $10 million Series A extension from Visa Ventures, Circle Ventures, Ripple, Haun Ventures, Translink Capital, and Mirana Ventures, bringing the round's total to $48 million. Velocity said it is building infrastructure for companies and financial institutions to use stablecoins for settlement, liquidity management, and treasury operations without replacing their existing systems.
