Kinetiq Unveils Elysium L2 for Hyperliquid, Using HYPE as Gas Hyperliquid ecosystem liquid staking protocol Kinetiq announced Elysium, a new L2 designed to improve HyperEVM performance and throughput while strengthening connectivity with HyperCore. Elysium will use HYPE as its gas token and focus on spot trading, PropAMMs, token launches and HIP-3 perpetuals. Of sequencer fees, 50% will fund open-market KNTQ buybacks and burns, 25% will go to ecosystem builders, and 25% to the Kinetiq treasury.
