Cypherpunk Technologies Launches World’s Largest Zcash Mining Fleet With 18% of Network Hashrate Nasdaq-listed Zcash treasury company Cypherpunk Technologies (CYPH) has launched ZEC mining operations through its subsidiary Cypherpunk Mining, deploying approximately 4.2 GSol/s of Equihash hashrate across the U.S., representing about 18% of the Zcash network. The company said the fleet is currently the largest active mining fleet on Zcash. The mining rigs were funded through a $33.33 million equity transaction with Winklevoss Capital, while mining industry veteran Kevin Zhang was appointed head of mining. Cypherpunk currently holds 323,394 ZEC, or about 1.92% of circulating supply, and plans to use mining and further accumulation to advance its goal of holding 5% of ZEC’s total supply.
