PROXIMITY CHAT AND KILL LINK Zeroes, the Grid just got a voice. Two new ways to talk are live on Teardrop, along with a full set of voice chat controls in the Audio settings. PROXIMITY CHAT Talk to nearby players in real time. No teams, no channels. If a Zero is close enough to hear you, they will. Switch between your squad channel and the proximity channel at any time in-game Toggle Proximity Chat on or off in Settings > Audio KILL LINK Knock down an enemy and a private voice line opens between you and them, active regardless of distance. The link stays open while they're down and closes shortly after a kill or revive. Downed a Zero, or got downed? Switch from your squad channel to the Kill Link channel and say your piece Toggle Kill Link on or off in Settings > Audio NEW AUDIO SETTINGS A new Voice Chat section is now available under Settings > Audio: Voice Chat Volume: set the level of incoming voice comms (0 to 100) Voice Chat Mode: Off, Push to Talk (PC), or Always Active Proximity Voice Chat: On / Off Kill Link: On / Off Voice Chat Input and Output Device selection (PC) Microphone Activation Threshold Voice chat is entirely optional.
