The Everything Chain's Still Missing Supply Solana captured 54% of global spot DEX volume in H1 2026 and grew its perps market 57% year over year, nearly nine times the pace of the category's biggest incumbent. The users showed up. Its own DeFi liquidity hasn't caught up: roughly $4.8B in TVL against Ethereum's $40.3B+, and a stablecoin base a fraction the size of Ethereum's ($149B) or Tron's ($91B). SODAX closes that gap with one integration, letting a Solana app reach capital across blockchain networks without asking a single user to leave the app they're in. Solana's had a real run in 2026. It captured 54 percent of global spot DEX volume in the first half of the year, more than any other network tracked, averaging $425B a month. Its perpetuals venues are growing at nearly nine times the rate of the category's biggest incumbent. However you cut it, the users showed up. Imagine what its builders could do with (easy) access to the TVL numbers of Ethereum or Tron. It's Not A Vibes Problem It's a numbers one. DefiLlama currently tracks about $4.8B in DeFi value locked on Solana. Ethereum alone sits at roughly $40.3B, before counting its own layer-2 networks. Stablecoins tell the same story: Solana holds close to $15B, next to Ethereum's roughly $149B and Tron's roughly $91B. Solana won the demand side. The supply, the actual capital that makes a market deep, mostly landed on twenty-plus other blockchain networks first, in wallets whose owners have had no particular reason to move it since. That's An Opportunity This isn't a Solana problem specifically. A perps venue, a lending market, or an RWA product built on Solana today inherits whatever capital and users already live there, competes, and everything else requires a trader to manually move funds across networks first: acquire the asset, wrap or bridge it, wait for confirmations, hope nothing breaks along the way. SODAX exists to close exactly that gap. One SDK integration lets a Solana app (Like @Lexur above) use cross-chain capital across blockchain networks its users are already holding, without asking anyone to manage the process and switch their whole set up. The builder ships the product. SODAX handles getting the capital there. We go deeper on the data, sourcing included, in the full piece on Hackernoon “The Everything Chain's Still Missing Supply”. If you're building on Solana and want to see what tapping into that liquidity directly actually looks like, sodax.com/solana is where to start.
