Socios.com offers to tokenize FIFA's $4.2B raise for fans worldwide MALTA, 29 July 2026 Socios.com today offered to structure FIFA Forward Enterprise's announced $4.2 billion raise as tokenised equity, enabling individual investors anywhere in the world to access the same instrument, on the same terms, as the institutions expected to participate. The company has offered to build and operate the infrastructure at cost. The proposal does not ask fans to replace institutional capital. Institutions would subscribe as FIFA intends. The proposal is that they should not be the only ones able to. Football's commercial value was created by billions of people, and almost none of them have ever been able to own any part of it. The reason is structural. Private equity is sold in tickets of hundreds of thousands of dollars, accreditation rules exclude most of the world by law, and cross border settlement makes small allocations uneconomic. Ownership of sport has been available to a very small number of people in a very small number of countries. That is a failure of infrastructure, not of appetite. Tokenised securities remove those constraints. The same equity, with the same rights and the same disclosure obligations, can be issued in small denominations, distributed globally through a single compliant channel, and, where regulation permits, traded on a regulated secondary market. What changes is who can reach it. Critically, this is no longer theoretical. Regulatory frameworks now exist on both sides of the Atlantic to support it. In Europe, tokenised shares are treated as securities under established financial services legislation, with issuance, distribution and trading governed by the same rules that apply to conventional equity. In the United States, regulators have set out how tokenised securities operate within the existing federal framework, including custody and investor protection requirements for broker dealers. Tokenised equity is not a parallel system. It is the regulated securities market, with better distribution. Socios.com is launching Socios Equity Tokens™: tokenised equity issued as regulated securities, built with an established transfer agent and issuance platform, under supervised frameworks in multiple jurisdictions. "FIFA does not have a capital problem. Four billion dollars is the easiest money in sport to raise," said Alexandre Dreyfus, Founder and CEO of Socios.com. "The question is not how much FFE raises. It is whether the only people who can own it are the ones who already own everything else." Socios.com takes no position on whether FFE should be created. That decision belongs to FIFA's member associations. "A stake held by three funds is a permanent target. A stake held by people in every one of the 211 member associations is a constituency," Dreyfus said. "President Infantino has said football belongs to the fans. The rules now exist to prove it, and we will build it at cost." The offer is non binding and remains open.
