Ithaca Upgrade The Ithaca Hardfork has been successfully deployed to Amoy testnet and will be released on Polygon mainnet at block number 50,185,000, at approximately 2 PM UTC on July 29. This upgrade makes payments on Polygon more reliable: an automatic failover keeps transactions moving smoothly in the rare case a block producer stalls, new safeguards block transactions that could slow or destabilize the network, and node operators get better visibility to keep everything running seamlessly under the hood.
