🧵1/7 ⚠️ Vulnerability Analysis: Exploit of Thetanuts Finance Legacy Vaults On June 15, options protocol @ThetanutsFi suffered an exploit targeting its legacy vault contracts on #ETH, resulting in approximately $105K in losses. Notably, about one hour later, a white-hat hacker used the same attack vector to execute rescue transactions against the project's other vulnerable vaults, successfully securing approximately $2 million worth of assets. Although the amount of tokens rescued was significantly lower than the amount stolen by the attacker, the rescued assets consisted of higher-value tokens (BTC/USD), making the total value rescued substantially greater than the value stolen.
