The Next Chapter of RaveDAO: Experiences, Participation, and Community-Led Growth Over the past two years, RaveDAO has hosted events across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, introducing thousands of first-time participants to Web3 through live experiences. In the first half of 2026 alone, we hosted 10+ events across multiple markets and welcomed more than 15,000 attendees into the ecosystem. The opportunity ahead is much larger than events themselves. Throughout history, the strongest communities have not been built around products alone. They have been built around shared experiences, shared identity, and a sense of belonging. Technology can scale coordination, but culture scales participation. One of the biggest challenges in Web3 is not building networks. It's giving people a reason to care. Over the past two years, we've seen how music, culture, and shared experiences can bring entirely new audiences into the ecosystem in ways that technology alone often cannot. With that in mind, our focus for the remainder of 2026 is centered around four priorities: • Expanding the RaveDAO ecosystem through experiences, partnerships, and global activations • Enabling community-led growth through grants and local initiatives • Increasing real-world utility for $RAVE • Introducing community governance mechanisms Here's what we're building next. Experiences Remain the Foundation Events remain the primary way people discover RaveDAO and enter the broader Web3 ecosystem. For the remainder of 2026, our focus is expanding both geographic reach and onboarding capacity. Key priorities include: • 15+ additional activations across Asia, Europe, and North America • Continued expansion of our artist touring initiatives • New collaborations with artists, festivals, conferences, and cultural institutions • New event formats that combine music, culture, technology, and community participation • Deeper integrations between live experiences and the broader RaveDAO ecosystem Our goal is to introduce more than 50,000 additional participants to Web3 through live experiences by the end of 2026. We believe culture remains one of the most effective onboarding channels in Web3. While most projects acquire users through trading, speculation, or digital marketing, our focus remains on bringing people onchain through real-world experiences and communities. Supporting Community-Led Initiatives As participation has grown, we've become increasingly focused on how to support community-led initiatives alongside those organized by the core team. A small team can organize events in a limited number of places. A community, however, can extend much further. That is why we are developing a RaveDAO Grant Program. While grant programs are common across technology and Web3 ecosystems, the RaveDAO Grant Program is being designed as one of the first frameworks dedicated to supporting community-led growth across live entertainment, music, and real-world cultural experiences. The goal is to support individuals, organizers, and communities that want to build experiences aligned with the broader RaveDAO ecosystem. The program builds on lessons from collaborations with organizations such as Lisbon Dance Summit, 1001Tracklists, Collective Minds, INS Land, DJ Lovers Club, and Amsterdam Music Festival, as well as dozens of community-led activations across our ecosystem. Together, these initiatives have helped introduce thousands of participants to RaveDAO through local experiences, partnerships, and cultural programming. Our pilot program is currently targeted for Q3 2026, with more details to be announced closer to launch. Over time, we hope this creates a more resilient ecosystem, one where participation extends beyond attending events and includes helping shape what comes next. Expanding the Role of $RAVE As the RaveDAO ecosystem grows, one question comes up consistently: what role should $RAVE play beyond trading and holding? Our focus is simple. We want $RAVE to become increasingly integrated into the experiences, communities, and products that make up the broader ecosystem. Areas currently being developed include: Event ticket purchases Onsite food and beverage purchases VIP experiences and table bookings Travel-related bookings Rewards and access programs Community activation incentives Several of these initiatives are already being built with infrastructure and ecosystem partners. The first wave of utility is expected to roll out in Q3 2026, beginning with travel-related bookings, ecosystem rewards, and access benefits for active community members. Additional utility tied to event ticketing, on-site experiences, VIP offerings, and community activations will be introduced progressively as new integrations and partnerships come online. Further details will be shared alongside upcoming product and partner announcements. RaveDAO Community Governance As RaveDAO grows, more decisions begin to affect a broader range of participants. Questions around event locations, community initiatives, ecosystem grants, and participation incentives become more meaningful when the community itself has a voice in the process. For that reason, we are actively developing a governance framework around $RAVE. The goal is not to turn every decision into a vote. Most communities do not function that way, and neither should we. Instead, we want to create clear areas where community participation can meaningfully influence the direction of the ecosystem. Areas currently being explored include: Ecosystem grant allocations Community-led initiatives Participation incentive programs Selected event-related proposals Our current approach is to begin with community discussions and temperature checks before moving certain proposals toward formal on-chain voting. We also expect governance participation to be connected to ecosystem benefits over time, creating additional incentives for thoughtful and constructive involvement. More details will be shared in the coming months as the framework takes shape. Looking Ahead The past few months have brought a lot of new attention to RaveDAO. With that comes both opportunity and responsibility. As the community grows, our focus remains on building products, experiences, and systems that can support long-term participation rather than short-term attention. The initiatives outlined in this roadmap are part of that effort. Some are already underway. Others will take time to develop alongside the community and ecosystem partners helping us build them. The roadmap outlined here reflects our current thinking. As always, the best ideas tend to emerge through building, feedback, and iteration. We're looking forward to sharing more as these initiatives take shape. Thank you for building with us. We are excited for what comes next.
