SuperRare's May-June Artist Additions New to SuperRare: May–June 2026 Every month, SuperRare opens its doors to a new group of artists, and this season we’re thrilled to welcome eight. Spanning painting, photography, animation, glitch art, analog video, and AI-assisted practices, these artists explore the boundaries between reality and imagination through themes of memory, technology, consciousness, spirituality, and perception. We’re proud to have them here. Cody Tarantino Intuitive surrealist artist @codytarantino creates dreamlike worlds exploring consciousness, nature, technology, and the boundary between reality and imagination through painting, pen and ink, digital art, animation, and immersive infinite zooms. Douglas McCurdy Brooklyn-based multimedia artist @douglasrmccurdy transforms fragments of daily life, memory, and subconscious experience into familiar-yet-strange abstractions spanning painting, photography, sculpture, sound, and digital media. Max Capacity Analog video artist @maxcapacity creates work by routing imagery through VHS hardware, CRTs, and dirty mixers. His custom AI system curates, rather than generates, from an archive of over one million analog frames built across two decades. MAZiN @endless_mazin's practice explores glitch, digital corruption, and surreal virtual landscapes. Through a combination of generative coding, databending, and AI-assisted visual processes, he crafts immersive digital worlds that exist between reality and simulation. mustard yeah / Theo Tagholm London-based artist mustard yeah, also known as Theo Tagholm, uses photography and moving image to investigate how we look, perceive, and move through space, questioning technology’s influence on the photographic depiction of the world. Psychofuturist @psychofuturist explores the future of human emotion through the timeless desire to give form to the divine. At the center of the work is a fascination with “rendering” God through the GIF, an endlessly looping image that becomes a contemporary vessel for the eternal. Sabato Visconti @sabatobox's Glitch Art practice examines the materialities of digital imaging, drawing on cultural histories, natural ecologies, and socio-political conditions to reveal subjects entangled within fragile systems prone to failure and malfunction. speakingtomato @speakingtomato creates surreal visual mythologies through AI-assisted digital art, exploring metamorphosis, memory, and the symbolic language of nature through animals, flowers, insects, and hybrid beings. On applications SuperRare receives a high volume of applications from artists around the world, and our curation process is intentionally selective. We review every submission carefully, and new selections are announced each month. If you haven't heard back yet, keep an eye out for next month's announcement!
