Canton Network Developer Digital Asset Raises $355 Million Led by a16z Crypto Digital Asset, the developer of privacy-focused blockchain Canton Network, announced the completion of a $355 million funding round at a $2 billion valuation. The round was led by a16z crypto, with participation from subsidiaries of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Apollo Funds, BNP Paribas, Citadel Securities, CME Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, HSBC, S&P Global, and SBI Group. The new capital will be used to accelerate strategic partnerships, pursue mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and support partners in building on-chain businesses.
