GAIB × Gonka: GNK Rewards Now Open Since late 2025, GAIB has been working with Gonka to deploy mining resources into the emergence of the Gonka network with a close group of qualified participants. That collaboration has now reached a stage where we're opening access to the open market for this opportunity. What Is Gonka Gonka is a decentralized Layer 1 network purpose-built for AI inference. Unlike general-purpose blockchains, Gonka directs nearly all contributed compute toward useful AI workloads, running models like Qwen3-235B across a distributed network of GPU hosts. The network uses a Proof-of-Compute consensus mechanism, meaning participants earn weight and rewards based on verifiable computational work performed rather than staked capital. Gonka's native asset, GNK, is earned exclusively through compute contributions. GNK is not yet listed on any exchange. Gonka is backed by Coatue, Mantis, K5 Global, Slow Ventures, and BitFury, among others. Gonka was founded by the Liberman family, a team with prior exits and deep experience across infrastructure, AR, and decentralized systems. GAIB's Role GAIB operates as an infrastructure partner. We have been sourcing and offering GPU hardware (including NVIDIA H100,H200, B200 GPUs) and providing the technical interface to connect the GPUs onto the Gonka network, handling the full operational stack: procurement, node configuration, network compliance, software upgrades and redirecting rewards. This is the same core business GAIB executes across its portfolio: financing and deploying compute infrastructure, then structuring the returns for participants. In this case, the returns come in the form of GNK tokens generated from real inference cycles, not from protocol incentive programs. The initial phase of this product ran as a private deployment beginning in late 2025 as announced back then. Over the course of several months of operation, the program has delivered consistent results, with over $600K with 200+ H200 GPUs deployed in the first batch alone. What's New: GAIC Phase 2 We're now opening enrollment for a new batch of the Gonka AI Compute product (GAIC). Here are the key details: Enrollment window: 2:00 AM UTC Jun 5 - 2:00 AM UTC July 5 Subscription period: 30 days Minimum deposit: 1 Unit GPU hardware: H100 (subject to availabilities) Rewards: GNK tokens, distributed weekly Management fee: 10% Insurance Pool: 10% of mined GNK is held in an insurance pool reserve throughout the period to cover potential downtime or network collateral requirements. If unused, it is paid to participants pro-rata at the end of the term. Deposits are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Capital is pooled to reserve full GPU machines in order of deposit; only complete machine units are activated. Any surplus that doesn't fill a full unit rolls over to the next round or becomes eligible for a refund request after the deposit window closes. Participants need both an Ethereum wallet (for USDC deposits) and a Keplr wallet (to bind a Gonka address for receiving GNK rewards). The Gonka address binding deadline is June 5; it cannot be changed after that date. How to Participate The product is live at gaic.gaib.ai.
