Polygon zkEVM Sunsetting: Next Steps For QuickSwap Users The Polygon zkEVM chain launched in 2023, which was an Ethereum L2 ZK rollup that was designed to have faster finality and lower fees. After more than 3 years of being live, given Polygon’s shift in focus and general slow adoption of the chain, Polygon zkEVM will be shutting down (sunsetting) soon. The Polygon zkEVM chain will officially sunset on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 - refer to official announcement here. Read below for key information and next steps. Users are advised to withdraw all assets and LP positions from the chain as soon as possible. If assets are not removed by this date, funds will be lost. This does not affect any assets on Polygon PoS. Recommended Actions For Users At the time of this writing (May 27, 2026), users have slightly over 1 month (until July 1, 2026) to take action prior to the Polygon zkEVM chain shutting down. QuickSwap users (and general users) with any assets on Polygon zkEVM are advised to withdraw any funds and/or liquidity positions from the chain prior to the sunset date. If assets are not removed from the chain by this date, user funds will be lost.
