The world's largest asset manager is moving deeper onchain. BlackRock filed with the SEC on May 8 to launch two new tokenized funds, including a blockchain-native money market vehicle structured to hold stablecoin reserves. The filings come from a firm overseeing roughly $14 trillion in assets. The new vehicle would let stablecoin issuers park reserves and earn Treasury yield without ever leaving the blockchain, building on BUIDL's adoption as collateral across major onchain markets. Injective's RWA module and permissions framework were built for exactly this institutional flow. The reserve and yield layer of the digital dollar system is moving onchain.
