Morpho Deploys on Kaia: Resilient Lending Infrastructure for APAC Morpho is now live on Kaia, establishing the core lending primitives required to power APAC’s stablecoin and RWA superchain. By bringing a battle-tested protocol with over $11 billion in historical deposits to the network, this deployment unlocks a new era of onchain finance, specifically tailored for real-world assets (RWAs), private credit, and stablecoin settlement at scale. Empowering the Ecosystem and Unlocking KAIA Utility Beyond providing foundational lending rails, this native deployment introduces immediate utility and new earning opportunities for the Kaia ecosystem. The first isolated markets available on Kaia will be: wETH / USDT wBTC (BTC.b) / USDT KAIA / USDT The KAIA/USDT market is particularly significant for token holders. Ecosystem participants can now supply KAIA as collateral to borrow USDT, creating a powerful new avenue for yield generation and capital efficiency. This mechanism allows users to unlock stablecoin liquidity to deploy across the ecosystem without having to liquidate their underlying KAIA positions. This deployment also fundamentally upgrades the architecture for Kaia-incubated yield protocols like SuperEarn. Previously, generating yield on Morpho required bridging assets, exposing users to cross-chain vulnerabilities and gas fees that diminished yield margins. With Morpho natively on Kaia, aggregators like SuperEarn can now generate yield locally. This entirely eliminates bridge-related security risks and latency, while Kaia’s low-cost environment allows for much more frequent and cost-effective portfolio compounding. Built on Secure, Isolated Architecture To support these advanced institutional and retail use cases, security and resilience are paramount. The recent spate of DeFi exploits has exposed a structural flaw in traditional lending protocols: shared liquidity pools. In legacy models, all assets are mixed together, meaning a vulnerability or price manipulation in one obscure asset can drain the entire protocol. Morpho solves this through its isolated market architecture. On Morpho, each lending pair exists as an independent market with its own specific collateral, loan asset, and risk parameters. A failure in one market cannot infect the others. This isolation contains risk, prevents systemic contagion, and provides the institutional-grade security required to scale Kaia's broader DeFi ecosystem. When combined with Kaia’s EVM-compatible Layer 1; which features 1-second finality and gasless transactions, the Morpho lending experience becomes highly efficient. Users can execute complex borrowing strategies without the friction of high network fees or delayed settlements. Curated Risk and Resilient Oracles To ensure these markets operate efficiently and safely, Kaia has partnered with Feather and RedStone. Feather serves as the vault curator for Kaia’s initial lending markets. Rather than relying on static parameters, Feather dynamically manages risk through rigorous asset screening and stress-tested simulations. They are responsible for selecting supported collateral assets and configuring key market parameters, including Liquidation Loan-to-Value (LLTV) ratios and supply caps. This active curation ensures that yields are optimized while strict insolvency safeguards remain in place. Price feed accuracy is equally critical to lending security. RedStone provides the oracle infrastructure for these markets, delivering high-frequency, reliable price data to ensure liquidations execute precisely when required. [insert Redstone + Feather announcement post] Kaia is the foundation where stablecoins become capital. By integrating Morpho’s isolated lending rails, Feather’s risk curation, and RedStone’s oracle precision, we are building the infrastructure necessary to route liquidity into onchain finance across Asia.
