BitGo CEO Slams Report Claiming Quantum Computing Could Break BTC by 2030 CoinDesk reported that post-quantum security firm Project Eleven warned quantum computing could threaten BTC wallet security by 2030. The firm said Bitcoin's bigger challenge is not technical, but coordination: users, exchanges, custodians and miners would all need to migrate to post-quantum cryptography at the same time. BitGo CEO Mike Belshe pushed back, arguing that the warning comes from a company whose business model depends on public concern over quantum computing.
