Kraken Parent Payward to Acquire Reap Technologies for $600 Million According to Bloomberg, crypto exchange Kraken parent Payward Inc. has agreed to acquire Hong Kong-based Reap Technologies for $600 million. Reap specializes in stablecoin-based cross-border payments and business payment services, with many crypto-linked “U cards” using Reap as underlying infrastructure. In the transaction, Payward’s issued shares were valued at $20 billion.
