Pyth Enters Its Next Phase with the Launch of the Data Marketplace 6 Major Financial Institutions Choose Pyth to Build the House of All Financial Data. The recent launch of Pyth Data Marketplace has ushered the network into its next phase, alongside the milestone moment of six of the world’s largest institutions joining as data publishers. Over the past five years, Pyth has built the infrastructure through which institutional market data moves across global markets. More than 120 institutions contribute data to the network, providing over 3,000 price feeds that have secured more than $3 trillion in trading volume to date. Euronext FX, Exchange Data International (EDI), Fidelity Investments, OTC Markets Group, SGX FX, and Tradeweb are now publishing proprietary data directly through Pyth, validating a meaningful shift in how the world's most established financial institutions think about data distribution. For decades, the institutions generating the most valuable market data had no way to distribute or monetize it directly. Vendors purchased the feeds, repackaged them, and captured the economics of redistribution. The institutions closest to price formation were cut out of the value chain they created. A New Distribution Model for Institutional Data The Data Marketplace changes the traditional equation. It enables institutions to distribute proprietary datasets directly to a global network while retaining full control over attribution, pricing, and access. Pyth provides the infrastructure and reach, spanning more than 100 blockchains and over 700 applications. The data remains intact from source to consumer. For the institutions publishing, this is about control and distribution. For the market, it is about access. At launch, the Marketplace includes datasets across spot FX, precious metals, crude swaps, OTC pricing, fixed income, corporate actions, and reference data. These are the same types of datasets that underpin traditional financial markets, now made available in a form that can be consumed programmatically and globally. Why This Matters for Onchain Markets The implications for DeFi are meaningful. Better data improves price accuracy, strengthens risk management, and enables more sophisticated financial products. It reduces reliance on approximations and fragmented sources. It gives builders access to datasets that were previously out of reach. In short, it raises the ceiling for what onchain markets can support. What makes this moment notable is not just the data itself, but who is choosing to distribute it this way. Leading Market Participants Are Choosing Pyth The institutions closest to price formation are beginning to extend their data directly into global, onchain markets. This signals a shift in how they think about distribution. It is no longer a question of traditional versus onchain. It is a question of reach, control, and infrastructure that can support a 24/7 financial system. "Euronext FX's data represents some of the highest-quality institutional pricing available across global currency and metals markets. Publishing this data through Pyth marks an important step toward a unified, transparent, and programmable market data standard for modern finance." — Nicolas Jegou, CEO of Euronext FX "At Tradeweb, we are seeing growing demand for more timely and accessible ETF data. By publishing our iNAVs to the Pyth Network, we are exploring how onchain infrastructure can extend the reach of high-quality, intraday valuations to a broader set of market participants." — Michael Zaladonis, Global Head of Data Products and Analytics at Tradeweb These six institutions are the first to publish through the Marketplace, with more already in motion. What began as infrastructure for decentralized markets is increasingly becoming a distribution layer for institutional data. As more data moves closer to the source, the systems built on top of it will continue to evolve. Pyth is becoming the house of all financial data.
