GAIB Q1 2026 Review The first quarter of 2026 presented a difficult operating environment across both traditional and digital asset markets. Escalating trade policy tensions, persistent macroeconomic uncertainty, and reduced risk appetite led to broad-based pullbacks in crypto and DeFi. Liquidity across on-chain protocols contracted, and participant activity slowed meaningfully. Nevertheless, demand for AI infrastructure financing continued to grow. Global compute expenditure accelerated throughout the quarter, with large-scale GPU procurement, data center expansion, and AI workload scaling driving sustained capital demand — the core market that GAIB serves. Despite a challenging market environment, we delivered strong and consistent yield performance, with the vault generating 10.53% annualized net APY across two active GPU financing facilities totaling ~$20M in deployed capital. sAID Vault Performance Q1 2026 was sAID's first full quarter of operations since its November 2025 launch. Yield was distributed across three monthly interest payments in January, February, and March — all processed on schedule and sourced entirely from AI infrastructure financing revenue. Monthly returns increased sequentially: +0.79% in January, +0.82% in February, and +0.85% in March. All capital inflows and redemptions were processed without delays. Redemptions are handled on a monthly cycle (1st of each month), and no queuing occurred during Q1. Product & Infrastructure Updates Transparency Dashboard — Redesigned to provide real-time visibility into reserves, capital allocation, and deal composition, backed by monthly independent attestation reports from McMillan Woods (Hong Kong) CPA Limited. UI/UX Improvements — Streamlined flows for minting, staking, and redemptions across the platform. Yield Boost — Launched as a real-yield incentives program distributing GAIB tokens monthly to sAID holders. Designed as direct yield enhancement, not a points-based system. Principal Insurance — Secured a partnership with an insurance provider to offer vault-wide principal coverage, with rollout planned for Q2. Liquidity & Capital Formation Expanding DeFi liquidity for sAID remains a key priority. Work is underway across multiple channels, including borrowing markets, secondary liquidity mechanisms, and deeper protocol integrations. Current market conditions and the vault's still-growing scale have slowed the pace of closing some of these partnerships. Updates will be shared as integrations go live. On the capital formation side, GAIB maintains a qualified pipeline of over $140M in AI infrastructure financing deals available for immediate deployment as the vault grows. Outlook Q2 has several initiatives in progress spanning new DeFi integrations, enhanced investor protections, and new investment products that extend beyond the core sAID vault. We look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.
