😱The lead singer of G. Love & Special Sauce downloaded a fake Ledger app from the Apple App Store after switching computers, resulting in the theft of approximately $420,000 worth of Bitcoin. Many users assume that downloading wallet apps from official app stores such as the Apple App Store and Google Play is risk-free — this assumption is incorrect. ⚠️ There is only one secure path for downloading Web3 applications: apps must be obtained exclusively via official download links provided on the project’s website (wallets, exchanges, etc.), and the website URL must be strictly verified.
