THORChain (@THORChain): How many bridge exploits before the industry accepts that wrapping assets through third parties is the vulnerability, not the exception?

How many bridge exploits before the industry accepts that wrapping assets through third parties is the vulnerability, not the exception? Today a third-party Polkadot bridge (Hyperbridge) was exploited. The attacker minted 1 billion fake $DOT on Ethereum out of thin air, dumped it straight into the liquidity pool, and drained ~240K $ETH in a single transaction. Polkadot did not fail here, the infrastructure around it did. This is exactly why THORChain moves native assets only. No third party minting, no wrapped tokens, nothing to exploit at that layer. Thoughts with the Polkadot community.
