CZ Responding to Whether He Sympathizes with FTX Founder SBF On May 6, 2025, during an interview with FAROKH RADIO, Binance founder CZ @cz_binance was asked if he sympathizes with FTX founder SBF. He stated that while he does not wish a prison experience on anyone, behavior involving fraud and deception must be stopped. Transitioning to his general observations on the US prison system, CZ mentioned that excessively long sentences often cause inmates to give up on reforming themselves. He noted that over-punishment costs taxpayer dollars and ultimately defeats the system's original correctional purpose. Previously, FTX founder SBF was sentenced to 25 years in prison for massive fraud.
