Balaji Srinivasan: It's Easier to Build Bitcoin Than Reform the Fed On March 18, former Coinbase CTO and former a16z general partner Balaji Srinivasan @balajis said in an interview with Bitcoin Magazine that building Bitcoin is easier than reforming the Federal Reserve. He noted that social platforms like Facebook rose rapidly in just 20 years, while traditional reform efforts often drag on endlessly with little progress. Balaji said Bitcoin's core idea is "change through exit" - leaving the old system and building something better, thereby forcing institutions like the Fed to become more disciplined. He added that Bitcoin's philosophical significance is greater than its technical significance, as it breaks psychological barriers and proves that building new forms of society is entirely possible.
