Haseeb Qureshi on Why Tech Giants Won't Let AI Touch Crypto Trading On March 2, Haseeb Qureshi, managing partner at Dragonfly Capital, said in an interview with Bankless that it is not difficult for AI to execute blockchain tasks. For example, an EVM simulator can test whether a model has completed actions such as looped lending or token swaps. However, AI companies have been slow to enter this field. One reason is that the crypto industry has a controversial reputation, but the more critical issue is liability risk. Compared with providing coding or medical advice, the risk-reward ratio of letting AI manage crypto wallets is very low. It would be like executing risky leveraged operations for users. If AI conducts crypto trades that cause major losses, it could quickly become a PR disaster and trigger widespread backlash against AI companies.
