in my experience llms have much harder time with rust than with zig, even though they think they know rust better. with zig you get a very simply syntax that fits into a cheatsheet. much more powerful comptime concept instead of macos, generics and const evaluation. zero implicit behavior, no hidden control flow, no hidden memory allocations. then there are some fun features like exhaustive error sets that allow you to foresee and handle any paths that could go wrong and would notify you if a new error is added or removed. the compiler is very fast too and will only become faster. one serious downside is the language is very young and the syntax changes a lot every release. but again this is solvable with a cheatsheet.
