Longevity Testnet Is Live The next milestone for Gravity is here. We’re launching the Gravity L1 Longevity Testnet, marking the next phase of our technical development and the final milestone before the launch of L1 mainnet. The Gravity stack has continued to evolve as we push toward real-time EVM performance. We’ve shipped Grevm (Gravity EVM), contributed improvements to the Reth ecosystem, and expanded the capabilities of the Gravity SDK to support a fully integrated, high-performance L1 architecture. Performance Benchmarks Initial benchmarking of Longevity Testnet demonstrates strong throughput under controlled conditions. In a 3-validator cluster (8 vCPU / 16GB RAM per node), the network achieved: ~200 ms block time ~9,500 to 11,000 TPS for ERC20 transfers These results were obtained on relatively modest hardware, reinforcing Gravity’s focus on delivering high throughput on cost-efficient infrastructure. Testing indicates that throughput was primarily limited by disk persistence latency rather than CPU or execution performance, suggesting additional headroom as infrastructure scales. See the full benchmark results and bottleneck analysis. Reproducible Performance Testing To ensure transparency, Gravity provides a fully reproducible benchmarking framework. Developers can replicate our performance tests using the open-source gravity_bench tool. The benchmarking guide walks through: deploying the required ERC20 contracts preparing large account pools running sustained transaction loads measuring throughput and latency Reproduce the benchmarks. Testnet Infrastructure Developers can now access the Longevity Testnet infrastructure: RPC Endpoint Testnet Faucet Testnet Explorer Gravity also provides a validator cluster deployment guide for teams that want to run their own environments and test high-performance configurations. Deploy your own cluster. Build on Gravity The Longevity Testnet brings our innovation alive and provides an environment for developers, validators, and infrastructure teams to experiment with the network, run sustained stress tests, and experience Gravity’s architecture directly onchain. Explore our docs. If you're building in crypto and need fast execution and high throughput, now is the time to experience Gravity L1. Get in touch if you need support or want to chat.
