KYC on GUNZ: What You Need To Know Before You Submit Withdrawals are LIVE for all 432K Zeroes on Mainnet! But before you can withdraw your items to OpenSea, there's one step you need to complete: KYC Here's everything you need to know. Read this before you submit. What Is KYC? KYC stands for Know Your Customer. It's a standard identity verification process required by law for certain types of blockchain transactions; including withdrawing NFTs to external marketplaces like OpenSea. On GUNZ, KYC is completed inside the GUNZ Wallet app. It's quick, but it matters that you get it right. Why Do I Need It? If you want to withdraw items from Off The Grid to sell on OpenSea or receive items from OpenSea back into your GUNZ wallet; KYC is required. Without completing KYC, you can still use the GUNZ In-Game Marketplace inside the GUNZ Wallet. But external withdrawals are locked until verification is done. You Only Get One Attempt This is the most important part. Each player gets one KYC submission. There are no do-overs. If you submit with the wrong documents or incorrect information, your attempt is used. Before you hit submit, double check everything. What Documents Should I Use? When you start the KYC process in the GUNZ Wallet, you'll see a list of accepted documents. Use what's listed. The strongest options are: Passport National ID Card Make sure your documents are valid, not expired, and clearly readable. US Users: Read This US identification is not currently supported for KYC on GUNZ. If you are a US citizen, even if you're living abroad, and you submit US-issued documents (US passport, US driver's license), you will fail KYC. Your documents need to be issued by a supported region. It's not about where you live. It's about where your documents are from. US withdrawal access is it's final stage (this is why you're reading this 👀) When it's available, you'll hear about it. What If KYC Fails? If your KYC is rejected and you don't receive a resubmission option, the only path forward is to open a support ticket in the GUNZ Discord. Describe your situation and include any visual proof of errors. The compliance team handles all KYC reviews; the regular support team cannot intervene in the process. This will take some time to review, please be kind to the GUNZ community team helping you with this issue.
