CZ on His First Encounter with Bitcoin: When It Was $70 in 2013 On February 10, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said in an interview on the All-In Podcast that in 2013, after being introduced to Bitcoin by a friend, he began studying it in depth and spent nearly six months repeatedly reading the white paper and related materials before deciding to enter the market by the end of the year. By that time, Bitcoin had risen from around $70 in mid-2013 to nearly $1,000. He admitted that his immediate reaction afterward was that he was too late. Zhao noted that regardless of when people enter the Bitcoin market, they often feel they have missed the opportunity. This period also marked a key turning point in his decision to resign and enter the crypto industry. Source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQwXgxJxwnw
