At Consensus Hong Kong, our Co-Founder & CEO @ChiZhangData joined @0G_labs, @edgeandnode, and @emfarsis on the main stage panel "From Moltbook to Mainstream: The Agentic Economy Endgame" to explore how agentic systems are moving from experimentation to real economic infrastructure. 💡Key takeaways from the discussion: • This is the Linux moment for agents. Agents are already powerful enough, and the open source ecosystem is turning them into a connected society. That social layer, agents interacting with agents at scale, is a catalyst for the leap toward AGI, in the same way Linux evolved rapidly through community contributions and competed with closed systems. • Agent identity is the core infrastructure. We need a three layer identity stack: agent identity, a linkage to the user identity, and a session identity scoped to the specific task. The fatal flaw of today’s OAuth model is that it often grants agents long lived session access, which can lead to actions being taken without proper authorization. An agent native identity system must be traceable and preventative by design, not just auditable after the fact. • Precision economics is the future, everything should be priced. Agents make fine grained value transfer possible, shifting the internet from subscriptions to usage based payments, per article, per API call, per action. Blockchains and stablecoins make micropayments real. But the safety infrastructure that makes transactions trustworthy, like signature verification and policy enforcement, should be built in and ready out of the box, not monetized. • Natural language is the ultimate standard. Because agents can coordinate through natural language, natural language becomes the most fundamental interoperability layer. We have tool standards today like MCP and Skills, but agents will eventually design their own standards, potentially without humans in the loop. Nothing stops agents from forming their own social environment. • Security and privacy are non negotiable. If we build agent memory systems without rigorous privacy review, we create massive exposure risk. We face a real dilemma: agents may find better methods on their own, but if we don’t establish guardrails and security foundations, we lose control and become passengers. At @GoKiteAI, we’re building the infrastructure for this transition, so agents can operate, coordinate, and transact safely at scale. The agent economy isn’t a narrative, it’s a new layer of the internet forming in real time. 🪁
