While many have pointed to the $AXS outperformance to start this year as a sign that momentum may be returning to gaming, it was actually in December that I started to see renewed hope. That was due to $POWER's very strong launch and @fableborne executing on Season 4. It's become popular to dunk on use cases for crypto outside of a few very specific use cases. Stablecoins, prediction markets, and perp dexes. All other use cases are seen as useless and idealistic. The reality is somewhere in between.
