over the last few weeks, there has been a few incidents that did not live up to the very high operational and product standards that we have set for ourselves. this includes miscommunications around jup lend, and the technical shortcomings around the 2 public phase sales for dtf. in particular, while the delayed 2nd public sale technically achieved the goal of distributing evenly to participants (see QT for reference) - the delay and confusion have caused large amounts of stress and disappointment. In particular, many in the jup ecosystem were affected. the way the staker phase was designed meant that ultimately, only a small % of the stakers could be part of the process. So they were very much looking forward to the whole DTF ended up being missing out on the staker phase, and then stressed out, confused in the second. we take full responsibility for these shortcomings. moving forward, i will work very closely with the team on all important comms, releases and processes to get back to a product standard that is expected of jupiter as one of the key leaders in onchain finance. in addition, i am also very much aware that as we strive towards building the first onchain superapp and realigning the community, certain major gaps have emerged. the core product is too cluttered, comms gaps around key ecosystem products are scattered, many in the community feel that the values that drove them here in the first place is now missing, and we have yet to synergize all the efforts into one cohesive narrative. that said, we are on the right path in terms of core strategy, and i cannot tink of a better team to build the future together with. it will likely take a few months to acheive the simplified streamlined synergy that we need, but i am ultra committed to getting there. as per my post, i have been heads down shipping and getting crucial initiatives like studio and jupnet off the ground: https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1998380985566597464 moving forward, i will be much more present in social spaces here and now to respond to users, community members and to help highlight all the great work the team is doing. for anyone reading this, we really appreciate your attention, and will strive to improve anyway possible.
