Yi He on Binance's Biggest Challenge: Insufficient Talent Density On December 3, 2025, after becoming Binance's new Co-CEO, Binance co-founder Yi He said in an interview with Odaily during Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai that the company’s biggest current challenge is insufficient talent density. She noted that while the finance and internet industries have highly mature talent pools, the crypto sector remains more prone to stigmatization, resulting in a limited number of high-quality candidates. Yi He emphasized that top Web3 professionals must possess strong financial and product expertise, as well as genuine conviction in the long-term value of the crypto industry — a combination that is naturally rare. She added that Binance’s global operations often require candidates to relocate to regions such as the UAE, adding further uncertainty to the hiring process. According to He Yi, only teams with deep industry belief and high professional standards can build a world-class crypto company, and the constraints of the talent pool remain Binance's most pressing challenge.
