The GAIB protocol upgrade is live As initially communicated, today we have released an important upgrade to the GAIB protocol, including an updated transparency page as well as enabling AID redemption and sAID unstaking. Transparency You can find our transparency report at aid.gaib.ai/transparency Here are the key pieces of information in this report: The total supply of AID is $74M. Since the launch of AID, $73M were migrated from AID Alpha to AID and around $1M of new AID has been minted. $121M were withdrawn since the option became available on November 17th. The remaining $2M remains unmigrated in AID Alpha and $5M AIDaUSDT on Sei AI yield vault. Out of the $74M of AID, $41M have been staked into sAID; the rest, $33M, remain circulating. The backing for AID can be found here, currently available now for redemption. The backing for $41M of sAID sits between $33.9M of deployed capital into 3 GPU and Robotics financing deals, attested in a 3rd party report by a licensed auditor available on the site, and $7M in reserves, available onchain here. Detailed balances for all assets and chains can be found on the site. We hope this paints a clear picture on the current capital state of the GAIB protocol. We want to assure users that funds are safe at the different levels of liquidity promised. AID redemption AID can now be sold into USDC on Ethereum on aid.gaib.ai/buy. Redemption is available 1:1 and processed instantly with a 0.1% fee. This fee has been set up to avoid arbitrage, as the current USDC/USDT spread is in this range, and our AID minting on BSC is USDT based. This would present an opportunity to arbitrageurs to profit from using the AID redemption funds. The proceeds of this redemption will be deployed back into the AID liquidity reserve. Secondary markets will not be supported at this time. For those who wish to exchange AID for stablecoins, they can do so through our website from AID to USDC on Ethereum. AID in non-Ethereum chains will need to be bridged into Ethereum AID using the bridge on our site, then redeem. sAID unstaking sAID unstaking has been enabled on aid.gaib.ai/stake. The cooldown period will be of 30 days from the moment of unstaking as initially communicated. From the moment of unstaking, sAID will accrue no yield or Spice points, and it will redeem back into AID, which can be then swapped 1:1 instantly for USDC. IMPORTANT: Please be mindful that only one unstaking request can be processed at a time. If you make one unstaking request now, you’ll not be able to make another until the 30 day cooldown period passes, unless you cancel your previous unstaking request first. To the users who’ve requested that this period is accelerated, we hear you, but this isn’t possible at the moment. This attestation report has been issued as of November 18th 2025 by an independent third-party licensed CPA firm that provides accounting and assurance services. It attests the deployment of $33.9M into 3 separate financing deals, as it was initially intended for sAID staked funds, to earn yield. We are actively working with these parties to make the capital available and we expect this to happen within the coming 30 days, at which it will be available for those users who wish to redeem it. The sAID 4626 vault’s yield mechanism is set to start issuing yield as intended from December 1st. For users who’ve been holding sAID since its launch or through November, a yield pool is being set up, pro rata to sAID holdings x time of holding. We’ll provide more updates about this soon. Conclusion We’re actively building AID and sAID to ensure transparency, capital security, liquidity and ultimately, yield for our users. We appreciate you for being part of the GAIB community and we hope we can meet your standards and we can keep bringing the AI Infra and Robotics economies onchain.
