Starting with… 🛠️ Product and infrastructure: ASI:Cloud is live in Beta and expanding week by week Launch recap and scope. On September 23, SingularityNET and CUDOS announced the Beta launch of ASI:Cloud, an open platform that unifies decentralized GPU compute with permissionless AI inference. The service includes wallet-based access, per-token LLM pricing, model metadata, API keys, and bare-metal GPU rentals. Builders can deploy workloads with no restrictive contracts and can compare outputs across open-source models. Visit the ASI:Cloud website to learn more. What shipped since early access. Public demos and walkthroughs showed wallet or email sign-in, claiming credits, deploying LLMs, testing ASI-1 Mini, and renting GPUs. The live Inside ASI:Cloud session ran on October 10. Watch on X. A community Discord opened to organize build sessions, reward programs, and collaborative experiments. An inference playground was added on October 1 for side-by-side model testing and prompt tuning. Takeaway for builders: if you need quick LLM inference or GPUs without centralized lock-in, ASI:Cloud has reached a level where you can evaluate performance, cost transparency, and integration flow in hours, not weeks. The ecosystem is steering traffic to the Discord to coordinate hands-on support. MCP standardizes how agents interact with external tools and services. MCP-Lite lets teams stand up a lightweight server quickly for dev and staging. Independent coverage and the project’s own channels describe these as the on-ramp for a denser agent microservice graph. Read more on X. The Agentverse Search API is now documented in the Innovation Lab resources. It lets you query the entire Agentverse for agents and microservices by state, category, protocol, model, or tags, then pull full profiles and call agents by handle. This is essentially discovery plus invocation, which shortens integration and improves agent-to-agent interoperability. Explore the Fetch.ai Innovation Lab Developer impact: with Search plus MCP, you can compose multi-agent workflows that discover capabilities at runtime. That supports use cases like dynamic tool routing, model selection, and cross-team service reuse. Meanwhile, Ben Goertzel’s latest essay, “Why Everyone Dies Gets AGI All Wrong,” rejected doom narratives and reinforced SingularityNET’s commitment to cooperative, beneficial AGI. ☁️ Cudos News In the month of October, CUDOS continued to play a central role in powering ASI:Cloud, the decentralized GPU and AI inference platform built in collaboration with SingularityNET for the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance. Following the Beta launch in late September, CUDOS oversaw a series of public demos, live walkthroughs, and community activations showcasing the platform’s capabilities. Builders can now deploy workloads using wallet-based access, transparent per-token LLM pricing, and bare-metal GPU rentals. On October 1, CUDOS launched the ASI:Cloud Community Discord, inviting builders to collaborate, test LLMs, and participate in reward programs. An Inference Playground was also released, allowing users to compare outputs and fine-tune prompts across models like ASI-1 Mini, LLaMA 3.3, and Qwen3-32B. On October 6, CUDOS announced a live demo event led by Metaverski, held on October 10, walking through sign-ins, claiming free credits, and deploying inference workloads. The same week, CUDOS confirmed ASI:Cloud’s open access phase, where anyone can start deploying inference jobs and earn $FET rewards for their deployments. 🏆 Hackathons ETHOnline 2025: Building Decentralized Intelligence October began with the ASI Alliance joining ETHOnline 2025, giving developers a chance to explore the early layers of ASI Chain through hands-on building. Participants can experiment with ASI:One, Agentverse, and MeTTa to create agents that think, reason, and act within decentralized systems. In partnership with the Fetch.ai Innovation Lab, this hackathon invites builders to use frameworks like uAgents or their own custom stacks to build intelligent agents. These agents can interpret language, make decisions, and perform actions while being registered on the Agentverse marketplace and discoverable through ASI:One. Whether in logistics, healthcare, finance, or education, the goal is to build agents that learn and adapt instead of following simple scripts. The prize pool totals 10,000 USD from the ASI Alliance, part of a wider 100,000 USD set by ETHGlobal. The event runs until October 31 and serves as a proving ground for developers who want to test the practical layers of decentralized cognition in action. [Read more] Cypherpunk Hackathon: The Next Wave of DeAI Agents The ASI Alliance has also joined the Superteam Earn Cypherpunk Hackathon, launching a new Agents Track focused on building modular, interoperable, and intelligent agents. With 20,000 USD in prizes, it challenges developers to design systems that can perceive, reason, and act across networks without central control. In partnership with the Fetch.ai Innovation Lab, the challenge combines the autonomy of uAgents with the reasoning power of SingularityNET’s MeTTa framework. Developers can enhance their agents with structured knowledge and integrate the Chat Protocol for ASI:One to make them discoverable and interactive. All submissions are deployed to Agentverse, where agents can connect and evolve together. This makes the event more than a coding challenge. It is an opportunity to build the early foundations of agent economies that will power future decentralized AI systems. Submissions are open until November 13, with winners announced on November 15. The ASI Alliance describes this hackathon as a step toward a composable and cross-chain future where intelligent agents drive progress across every sector. [Read more] Beneficial AGI Summit Hackathon: Building Toward Decentralized and Ethical AI Running from October 14 to 25, the Beneficial AGI Summit Hackathon anchors the build-up to the Istanbul Summit with a call to action for developers who want to align AGI’s evolution with open collaboration and human values. Hosted by the ASI Alliance with partners including Fetch.ai Innovation Lab, SingularityNET, CUDOS, Wada, and Beyondthecode.ai, the event gives builders direct access to the modular ASI stack: MeTTa for symbolic reasoning, uAgents for agent interoperability, ASI:One for communication and discovery, and Agentverse for deployment and coordination. The hackathon features four challenge themes focused on socially meaningful use cases: preserving cultural memory, creating explainable civic systems, decentralizing news verification, and protecting children from algorithmic exploitation. Each track rewards projects that combine technical depth with ethical grounding. The prize pool totals 5,000 USD, along with compute credits from CUDOS and extended collaboration opportunities with the Alliance. Winning teams will continue developing their solutions inside Agentverse, forming part of the growing ecosystem of interoperable, reasoning-based AI agents.
