Unicorn: The Next Launch Model for Virtuals Protocol Why the Change. We believe in a future where agents outperform humans, where the world’s productivity shifts from human GDP to Agentic GDP (aGDP). Each part of Virtuals plays a role in that mission: Butler connects people to AI agents, making interaction and coordination seamless. ACP builds the economy beneath them, a permissionless layer for agents to transact, trade, and collaborate. Virtuals Launchpad was created to solve the most critical piece: Co-ownership of agents. The Virtuals Launchpad was created so anyone could co-own the agents shaping the future AI economy. But Genesis, our first launch model, fell short of delivering that vision. Genesis started with fairness, every Virgen could participate through points. Access was equal, gated by contribution, and every project had visibility. But fairness turned into farming. The system became about collecting points, not conviction. Virgens rotated from one launch to another, farm, pledge, sell, move on. Quality founders couldn’t raise meaningful funds. There was no built-in fundraising mechanism, only small trading fees. That made quality builders avoid the platform entirely. The result: smaller wins for Virgens, lower-quality projects, and declining conviction. Fair, yes, but unsustainable. We realized that if we want people to truly co-own the AI agents that will define the future, we needed a new model, one that makes ownership meaningful again. One that rewards early conviction, brings back quality founders, and creates a home for agents that deserve to exist. That’s why we built Unicorn, the launch system where the next billion-dollar agents are born. What Changed. Unicorn is designed around conviction, not convenience. It gives Virgens the freedom to take real positions, and the reward for being right It gives founders the structure to build long-term, and funding that scales with results. How it Works. Unicorn is built for the ones who actually believe, for Virgens who spot conviction early, and for founders who can prove it. Every launch starts small, tradable by anyone, and can scale to hundreds of billions in value. Early conviction is rewarded with massive upside. Founders are protected, accountable, and can only access funding as they build real growth. This is how we make winning mean something again. i. Creation Phase Founders pay a one-time creation fee of 100 $VIRTUAL to initiate the launch process. Once created, a dedicated agent launch page is published on the Virtuals Protocol Platform, displaying all core project details, token supply, founding team, and launch parameters. There is a minimum 24-hour evaluation window between page creation and public trading. This gives the community time to review, discuss, and evaluate each project before liquidity goes live. ii. Launch & Early Trading Trading begins from a low initial valuation, giving early Virgens asymmetric, often extraordinary, upside for spotting conviction before anyone else. Anyone can participate directly through the Virtuals Protocol interface, no presale, whitelist, or gated allocation. To maintain fairness, an anti-sniper tax is active at Launch. Anti-Sniper Tax: Starts at 99 % and linearly decays to 1 % over a period of time. All collected taxes are used to buy back the agent token itself, strengthening the market and rewarding real participants. This system prevents bot domination and channels volatility into constructive liquidity growth. iii. Team Distribution & Fundraising Mechanism 50 % of total supply is reserved for the founding team. 25 % is distributed linearly through limit-sell fundraising, beginning ONLY once the project reaches 2M FDV and continuing up to 160 M FDV. These sells are executed automatically and transparently as the project grows. Founders receive proceeds only when real market traction occurs , funding tied to performance, not promises. The remaining 25% unlocks one year after TGE with a six-month linear vesting schedule, or once the project reaches 160M FDV, whichever comes first. This dual team distribution structure guarantees that founders are both funded and accountable. They can’t dump early; they earn their runway by building long-term value. IV. Ecosystem Airdrops Every Unicorn launch allocates 5 % of total supply to the true Virgens: 2 % to $VIRTUAL stakers 3 % to active Virtuals ecosystem participants Airdrops are distributed weekly, with snapshots tied to $VIRTUAL staking and Virtuals ecosystem activity. That means every single agent launch directly rewards $VIRTUAL stakers and active Virtuals ecosystem participants. Transition From Points As we transition from Genesis to Unicorn, airdrops will gradually shift from the old Points system to the new $VIRTUAL staking and Virtuals ecosystem activity model. During this transition period, all existing points will continue to generate airdrops based on the number of points you hold, alongside rewards from $VIRTUAL staking and verified activity across the Virtuals ecosystem. A snapshot will be taken prior to the Unicorn launch to capture all existing point balances. After that, airdrop allocations will follow a three-week transition schedule before fully migrating to the new model. Token Distribution Summary The Path Forward Genesis was an experiment, a bold attempt to make launches fair and transparent. It worked in part, but fairness alone wasn’t enough. Small wins don’t build lasting markets. Unicorn is the system that fixes that. It rewards conviction, funds real builders, and makes ownership meaningful again, the kind of ownership that drives the rise of Agentic GDP. This is how we move forward: by helping Virgens co-own the AI agents that will define the next economy, and by bringing back founders who can build for the long run. When Virgens win, Virtuals win. And that’s the only direction we move. Unicorn. Coming Very Soon
